A brotherhood of tradition, charity, and community
Welcome to the
Nelson-Tasman
Freemasons Centre
443C Nayland Road, Stoke, Nelson
The Nelson–Tasman Freemasons Centre is ‘home’ to all of the Masonic Lodges in the region, as well as a number of side orders. After a disastrous fire in the Nile Street Masonic Hall in 2019, this building was purchased by the Nelson Masonic Company in 2022 and renovated and remodelled. It was formally dedicated in August 2024 and now forms the heart of Freemasonry in the Nelson-Tasman region.
What is Freemasonry?
Freemasons are part of a global fraternity that values tradition, personal growth, and community service. With a rich heritage that spans centuries, Freemasonry provides a unique environment in today’s modern world.
Brotherhood
Freemasonry is made up of good men from all walks of life, united in the desire to be lead by curiosity and kindness – to do good, to learn and to give.
